Buzz Balls

Recipe taken from our best selling book, Paleo Primer: A Second Helping.

Serves: 22 Balls

Prep: 15 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 100g 85-90% Dark chocolate (melted)
  • 100g Macadamias
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 40g xylitol
  • Shot of espresso (around 80ml)

Directions

  1. Grease a baking tray with a little coconut oil.
  2. Place the macadamias in a food processor and blend until finely chopped.
  3. Place the melted chocolate in a mixing bowl and add the macadamias, coconut, cocoa, xylitol and espresso – combine thoroughly.
  4. The mixture is a little sticky, so you either place teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet OR shape it into round balls using your hands, but only if you can cope with getting messy!
  5. Place in the fridge to chill and set for 30 minutes.
