Choc Ice Chunk

Serves: 4

Prep: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 2 small ripe avocados, peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 5 medjool dates
  • 50g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa), roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Peel the bananas and chop into chunks.
  2. Place in the freezer for 3–4 hours.
  3. Remove from the freezer and allow to soften for ten minutes before placing in a food processor.
  4. Blend into a paste.
  5. Add the dates, cocoa and avocado, and mix again until the mixture develops the consistency of a mousse.
  6. Divide into serving bowls and top with chocolate chunks.
