Nutty Banana Smoothie

Great as a post-workout breakfast, this smoothie is filled with nutritious ingredients and tastes like Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey Ice Cream – how can you resist?

Serves: 2

Prep: 5 Minutes


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or dairy alternative of your choice)


  1. Peel and freeze your banana the night before. 
  2. In the morning, remove the banana from freezer at least 15 mins before blending. 
  3. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  4. Blend together and drink up!
