Protein Smoothie: The Perfect Brainy Breakfast
- 1 tsp of coconut oil (melted)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 scoop whey protein (we use Pulsin, Now or Solgar)
- 2 tsp organic cocoa
- 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Almond milk or water to mix
- Xylitol, raw honey or Sweetleaf Stevia (to taste)
- Handful frozen berries
- Blend the coconut oil and egg yolks in a blender.
- Add in the protein powder, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla and berries (if adding) and mix again.
- Add desired amount of water/unsweetened almond milk and sweetener to make your perfect smoothie.
