How It Works
Prior to your consultation, you will be required to complete a detailed health questionnaire which provides an insight into your health history, current nutrition, exercise routine and lifestyle and most importantly your personal health goals. “I spoke to Keris after having undertaken some hormone tests and feeling overwhelmed by the information in the results. Keris simplified all this for me and gave me all the information I needed. I hadn’t had periods for over 4 years and was badly over exercising and under eating. I basically hated myself and was putting my body through hell! Keris made me see all this and although it has been a long journey for me to realise it myself I’ve finally learnt how to nurture my body instead of torturing it. My periods came back the next month after supplementing and realising that food doesn’t have to be earned, and not living by ‘no pain no gain’ with exercise. I have had another session with Keris since after having a little lapse in the self love and although I occasionally have bad days I can now look in the mirror without hating what I see back. Life is here to be enjoyed and not to be wasted on the small stuff. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without Keris and can’t recommend her enough.”
SARA | DIGESTIVE HEALTH
“I was suffering with IBS and fatigue following a burst appendix with underlying mild IBS since my teens. I had tried cutting out gluten, an alkaline diet, probiotics and was eating very well but my symptoms weren’t improving. I had a digestive stool test run with Keris that showed high levels of pathogenic bacteria in my gut. From this Keris recommended a gut protocol, nutritional supplements and lifestyle advice including reducing my high intensity exercise for a while. Keris looked at the whole picture, which was great and helped me see more clearly what was causing my issues now and long term. Since doing the gut protocol my fatigue and IBS symptoms are almost non-existent and any mild symptoms are easily kept at bay by continuing her lifestyle and food advice. Really for me I needed to understand how my over exercising and continuously pushing my body was having such a detrimental effect on my gut and body. I’d highly recommend Keris’ approach to anyone having issues with their gut, hormones or struggling to lose weight. Looking at things more holistically is definitely beneficial. One amazing side effect for me is although I’m doing a lot less high intensity exercise now I’ve actually lost weight, bonus!”
SERJI | DIGESTIVE HEALTH AND PRENATAL NUTRITION
“My 1:1 Nutritional Therapy consultations with Keris have been invaluable to me, and I just don’t know where I would be if I had not invested in this. I have been seeing Keris for 1:1 Consultations for the last 5 years (since I was 30), mainly for various gut issues, but also for prenatal advice, and body composition guidance in the earlier days. I have been obsessed with fitness and nutrition since I was 21 years old, so I have always been an avid gym goer and runner, and strict when it comes to eating healthily (although my definition of “healthy” eating has modified over the years). Despite this, I have been battling with gut issues for a number of years now, but things took a turn for the worst approx. 2 years ago. Some of my main symptoms were: fatigue; brain fog; recurrent sore throats, earaches; low mood; insatiable hunger (unable to go longer than 2 hours between meals or snacks), and severe eczema. I had been following Fitter Food for a long time by this point, had done a few of their on-line health plans and had their recipe books. I was also a member of Fitter 365 and was an avid listener of their podcasts and webinars, from which I gained so so much help and information about steps that I could take myself to improve my gut health. And although this all went some way to help, I was still suffering a lot. I knew that I needed 1:1 help from Keris, to dig a little deeper into the root cause of my ill health, which was getting worse. After in depth consultation with Keris, and some diagnostic tests, Keris was a able to pin point some of the key causes of my issues, and was able to devise a bespoke treatment protocol. Getting some kind of diagnosis was such a relief, and although it is most certainly not the be all and end all (there are so many other factors that affect gut health such as lifestyle, mind set, genetic factors, environment factors etc), it honestly felt like a huge relief to have some kind of understanding of why I was feeling so ill despite my best attempts to live a healthy lifestyle. I actually cried with relief! Within a few weeks of starting the protocol, my symptoms dramatically improved. I could actually function properly as a person again, I wasn’t constantly hungry, and the eczema almost cleared entirely. For me, the best points about getting 1:1 Nutritional therapy is that it takes the guess work out of the equation for you, and you hand all of that over to a qualified professional to do for you. I had grown exhausted by trying to “fix” myself, and then getting increasingly despondent and frustrated when it wasn’t working. So to finally be able to hand it over to some one far more capable than me was such a relief. To anyone who is considering 1:1 NT with Keris, I cannot recommend it enough. Invest in your health, it’s the best investment you can make and once you have done that, you have to trust Keris (she really does know her stuff) and trust the process. It might take time to undo all the poor lifestyle and nutrition choices you have made over the years.”
