About Matt Whitmore and Keris Marsden
Matt Whitmore is a qualified Strength Coach, Personal Trainer and Health Coach.
He is also co-author of the Paleo Primer and like his partner Keris he is 100% dedicated to the power of a nutrient-dense diet to fuel his active lifestyle.
Matt has played a number of sports at a high level and is highly motivated by great food, with an extra special fondness for bacon!
Matt is Fitter Food’s resident trainer and regularly blogs on technique, recovery, fat loss and other useful tips. He’s also the Fitter Food head chef and is responsible for some of Paleo Primer’s best-loved recipes.
Keris Marsden (NT Dip CNM, BA Hons, mBANT) is a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and a former lecturer on nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
She is also a qualified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor and is the mastermind behind the sweet treats on offer from the Fitter Food kitchen.
As the co-author of the best selling paleo inspired recipe book, The Paleo Primer, she is 100% dedicated to showcasing that eating an awesome diet of good quality, great-tasting and easily accessible produce is essential in living a long, healthy, energised and positive life.

We have a few vegan recipes but it’s not strictly a vegan plan and many of our vegetarian recipes include eggs, cottage cheese and other animal derived ingredients. However, most recipes can be adapted to become vegan and we’re happy to advise where we can.
The Strong Humans Project has a big emphasis on mindset and mental health to complement nutritional and training content and is about making lasting change.
You can join our programme even if you are due to go away or your schedule is packed with socialising, child care and more.
The Strong Humans Plan is an educational programme with a big emphasis on mindset support alongside nutrition and fitness resources.
The plan enables you to develop a wide range of health skills that will become part of a lifestyle beyond the 8 weeks.
It is designed to help you navigate more challenging moments or routine changes and be consistent with some realistic, healthy principles.
