Brined Salted Almonds

These brined salted almonds are a simple, healthy snack made with just three ingredients and a quick soak for unbeatable flavour and crunch.

Ingredients

  •  450ml water
  • 100g salt
  • 225g almonds

Method

  1. Pour the water into a saucepan and bring to the boil whilst dissolving the salt
  2. Remove the brine from the heat and then add in your almonds and let them soak for 15/20 minutes.
  3. Drain the almonds and spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the almonds are lightly toasted and fragrant.
  5. Don’t worry if the almonds are soft when they first come out of the oven, they will crisp up as they cool. Store them in an airtight container once completely cool and enjoy as a healthy snack.
