What you eat and drink is often dictated by your emotions. The reason you may struggle to adhere to a nutrition plan is often because you are stressed and busy at work, having relationship issues, feeling low or maybe even training hard and feel you deserve a “little treat." The thing all these have in common is that they are an emotion. More to the point though, they are all emotions that often lead to a need for a reward. Does this sound like you?
As the fitness industry is slowly merging with the health/medical profession, trainers are being referred to as the ‘doctors of the future’… I wouldn’t go that far (can you imagine handing Matt a stool sample?) The industry is now launching courses on stress, adrenal health, digestion and what really fascinates me; a course entitled “Women’s Issues.” So what are these women's issues?
At Fitter London we pride ourselves on giving people the knowledge and expertise to transform their health for the rest of their life. Check out Rob's story and his incredible results....
We love Moroccan flavours and we love meatballs so this is the perfect combination. Packed with anti inflammatory spices and tender lamb, topping with an egg finishes it off nicely. It's great served with cauliflower rice but if you are looking for a higher carbohydrate option you could serve with white rice.
Caribbean flavours are a great way to jazz up fish dishes and we made up this recipe to use up some leftover vegetables. Similar to all our recipes it's so easy to do. Give it a try.
Firstly, I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and spent some quality time with friends and family. No doubt you indulged in foods you would not ordinarily eat and had a few beverages of the alcoholic kind.....I know I certainly did and it was great however I am ready to get back on it and prepare for an awesome 2013.
Matt and I have been on a journey. We’re passionate about health and vitality, however, until recently, perhaps a little guilty of focusing too much on exercise and not truly acknowledging the power of nutrition. Our recipe book Fitter Food details everything we've learnt (the hard way) about transforming your health from the inside out with food.
An awesome tasting, healthy and super quick recipe. A great way of getting some top quality protein, vegetables and healthy fats. We have used rump steak for this dish (grass fed) so it's nice and cheap yet still full of goodness. I cooked this dish for my Mum for lunch as she is not feeling well.
Throughout our day we're faced with several choices that affect our health. Here's just a couple of decisions I made in one day that left me feeling great....

There has been so much hype since the Olympics and Paralympic games and rightly so, those guys are awesome and a true inspiration to all of us. Many are claiming how inspired they have been and are looking at getting involved with training, sport or just starting some new activities. I think this is fantastic however I am concerned it’s just new years resolutions all over agin. I can’t help but assume the inspiration and good intentions will just fade away and die a death within the next month, if that.
