Ingredients

  • 400g lamb mince
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. tomato puree
  • 2 tsp. ground coriander
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. cayenne chilli
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
  2. Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and using clean hands mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into five burger patties and place on a grill tray. Cook for 20–25 minutes.
