Asian Beef and Greens

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame or olive oil
  • 500g beef mince (substitute pork, turkey or soy mince)
  • 200g mangetout
  • 100g broccoli florets, chopped
  • 3–4 spring onions or substitute 1 tsp onion powder

Method

  1. Mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger paste, honey and garlic powder in
    a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a hot pan, add the broccoli, mangetout and
    spring onions. Stir fry for 2–3 minutes until the vegetables begin to char
    before adding the beef mince and stir fry until browned.
  3. Add in the sauce mixture, stir-fry for a few minutes until everything is fully coated in the mixture and cooked through.
  4. Served topped with a little more soy sauce or tamari if desired.
