Ingredients
- 2 bananas, sliced into chunks
- 100g strawberries *or substitute any fruit
- 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
- 50g dark chocolate 85% cocoa solids
- 30g smooth peanut butter
- Pinch of sea salt
Method
- Prepare the fruit and place on a serving plate, sprinkle over the cinnamon.
- Place the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt in the microwave on a low heat, keep checking to ensure it doesn’t burn (if you don’t have a microwave place in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water).
- Once melted place in a serving bowl, add the sea salt and drizzle over the peanut butter slowly for a swirl effect. Nut butters have different consistencies, if the one you’re using has a thick texture you can place in the microwave and melt slightly on a medium heat for 30s–60s to make it easier to combine with the chocolate.
- Serve the peanut butter fondue with bananas and berries.
