Fitter Peanut Butter Fondue

  • 2 bananas, sliced into chunks
  • 100g strawberries *or substitute any fruit
  • 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 50g dark chocolate 85% cocoa solids
  • 30g smooth peanut butter
  • Pinch of sea salt


  1. Prepare the fruit and place on a serving plate, sprinkle over the cinnamon.
  2. Place the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt in the microwave on a low heat, keep checking to ensure it doesn’t burn (if you don’t have a microwave place in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water).
  3. Once melted place in a serving bowl, add the sea salt and drizzle over the peanut butter slowly for a swirl effect. Nut butters have different consistencies, if the one you’re using has a thick texture you can place in the microwave and melt slightly on a medium heat for 30s–60s to make it easier to combine with the chocolate.
  4. Serve the peanut butter fondue with bananas and berries.
