Ingredients
- 500g lamb mince
- 250g cooked lentils
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 3 heaped tsp. harissa spice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1–2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- Salt and pepper
- 100g feta
- 100g fat free natural yogurt
- ½ tsp harissa spice
- Salt and pepper
Whipped Feta
Method
- Pre heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
- Prepare a baking tray for the burgers.
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Season with a little salt and pepper before combining thoroughly using your hands.
- Shape into 8 burger patties and place on the prepared baking tray. Place the burgers in the oven to cook for 25–30 minutes or until cooked through.
- To make the whipped feta, place the feta in a small bowl and mash with a fork, add the yogurt and whip with a fork or whisk until creamy. Stir through the harissa spice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
