We love coming up with new burger ideas and this simple but effective curried turkey burger recipe hit the spot. A nice lean source of protein, full of flavour and super quick and easy to make. #WINNING

Ingredients

  • 500g turkey thigh mince
  • 1 small red onion finely chopped
  • 1-2 garlic cloves crushed or finely chopped
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Season with Himalayan pink salt or freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Handful of fresh coriander to serve

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients except for the fresh coriander into a large bowl and mix together with your hands
  2. Make into burger patties before heating the oil in a pan on a medium heat and then cooking the patties for about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked
  3. Enjoy with our super easy homemade mango chutney which you will find here and some rice
